The Way of St-Jacques is one of the oldest and largest peaceful mass phenomenon in Europe.
For over 1000 years it has inspired people from very different backgrounds, faiths and generations. Ultimately it does not matter what the reason is for setting out on the path to Santiago de Compostela in Spain - religious motivation, cultural interest, or walking ambition.
